Forastero cocoa variety

Description

Cacao or cocoa (Theobroma cacao) is a rainforest tree whose seeds are used to make chocolate. The pulp around the seeds is sweet-sour and delicious. Forastero or Amelonado type cacao has high production of small fruits with flat, dark purple seeds. The tree is disease resistant and compact with small leaves. Seeds available year round.
